Patients and visitors to Bradwell Hospital can now relax in the hospital’s Rose Garden thanks to addition of garden furniture.

This is all due to a suggestion to the ‘Bright Ideas’ initiative run by the staff and volunteers at the patient and information resource centre (PIER) at Bradwell Hospital, part of the Haywood Foundation charity.

Patients, visitors, and staff are encouraged to put forward their ideas to improve the facilities and experience at both Bradwell and the Haywood Hospitals, and the garden furniture is a result of one such suggestion.

Haywood Foundation volunteer Geoff Lawton is pictured enjoying the new furniture. Geoff has been a volunteer since the opening of the PIER in 2016 and has played an important role in helping to design and develop the service we have today.

You can find Geoff in the PIER at Bradwell Hospital, eager to help you with any information, on Monday mornings.
