A group of Haywood Hospital clinicians and friends have completed their 11th annual bike ride, from Stone to Settle in Yorkshire, raising over £1400 for the Haywood Foundation.
Foundation member and keen cyclist Kay Stevenson said: “This year’s ride was a real challenge as it was extremely hot weather. However, we made sure we kept hydrated and made plenty of stops. We have now raised over £11,000 for our charity.
“It was an epic adventure and we had lots of laughs along the way. The group was made up of keen cyclist and others who just train for this annual event. A big thank you to everyone who took part, including our road crew, and to everyone who donated.”
