The Qigong sessions (a gentle form of Tai Chi) will resume at The Quaker Meeting Rooms in Leek from early November. Sessions are funded by the Haywood Foundation and free to patients with arthritis and other related conditions, the sessions will be delivered by fully qualified Tai Chi practitioner, Cath Jarosek, who delivered Qigong sessions, prior to Covid 19 lockdown in March 2020.

The sessions are very popular with patients as all forms of Tai Chi are proved to be very beneficial in terms of movement and flexibility.  It is also a great way to slow down and detress.

The Haywood Foundation are also considering running sessions in the Stoke-on-Trent area, beginning in the New Year. Updates on this will be posted on the website soon so watch this space!

If you would like to take part in any of the sessions, either at Leek or Burslem, or for more information, please contact June Brammar: june.brammar@mpft.nhs.uk or through the website contact form.
